Here at More More More… we love winter food! Winter is currently in full force – with snowstorms finally passing us, we can truly appreciate the beauty of winter from the comforts of our homes. It’s the perfect time to grab your seasoned vegetables and indulge in some true British comfort foods. Whatever your taste we have a number of our favourite winter dishes that are sure to entice your taste buds…

 

Starters

Red onion and Goats Cheese Tart

The perfect starter or even light bite. The pastry adds depth, while the goat’s cheese adds a creaminess. We’re sure all of your dinner guests will enjoy this, as it’s one of our favourites!

Tomato Soup

Simple, but oh so warming! Nothing says winter warmer as good as tomato soup. Serve with a side of freshly baked bread, or even a garlic bread if you’re wanting something with more oomph.

Cottage Pie

The epitome of a true winter warmer – filled with delicious beef mince, gravy and seasonal vegetables. This truly British main is topped with a crisp coating of mashed potatoes, which adds a smooth texture to the main.

Steak and Ale Pie

The ‘king’ of British pub food. Exactly what you need after a long day at work and doesn’t require too much effort – just pop it into the oven at 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Our idea of the best winter mash! With carrot and sweet potato, this side will no go amiss. It is a beautiful side to any dish, but it works exceptionally well with chicken.

Sticky Toffee Pudding with a salted caramel sauce

If you really think about winter you with always gravitate towards a sticky toffee pudding and the best thing about ours is that it includes a salted caramel sauce, which is incredibly popular with all dinner guests – it adds the perfect balance of salt to your sweet dish.

Coffee and Walnut cake

While you’re sitting with friends around a warming fire, why not grab yourself a slice of our wonderful coffee and walnut cake? Filled with generous amounts of coffee, walnuts and even grated carrot this cake is a great way to start and end a night! A smooth, espresso topping adds compliments to the dish.
